Keynote Talk "Career Shocks in Nursing" Conference

On January 19th, 2022, I gave a keynote talk during the "Career Shocks in Nursing" conference. This conference focused on how the COVID-19 pandemic impacted nursing professionals in Austria. The session consisted of two opening keynote addresses, followed by several workshops. My keynote talk focused on the state-of-the-art in scientific research in career shocks. Among others, I discussed recent conceptual and empirical development in the field. Furthermore, we discussed the lessons we can learn from career shocks research in light of the pandemic's effects on nurses. It was a great pleasure to open this conference and contribute to such a relevant topic and discuss this with an important group of professionals.
